Our Story
It all started back in 2015 in a small Los Angeles studio apartment. As an aspiring fashion designer, Antistar founder Stella Chen wanted to create a clothing line that made women feel beautiful, empowered, and comfortable in their own skin. After months of sketching, draping, and sewing late into the night, Stella had designed a collection of chic jumpsuits and black dresses that she just knew would resonate with modern women.
Armed with a suitcase full of samples, Stella approached local boutiques to see if they would carry her collection. The response was overwhelmingly positive – buyers loved the effortless silhouettes, luxe fabrics, and versatile wearability of Antistar designs. Within just a few months, Stella’s pieces were being sold across LA.
Spurred on by this initial success, Stella invested everything into founding Antistar as an official clothing brand. She built up an inventory of her most popular pieces and launched the antistar.shop website to sell directly to customers online.
Word began to spread about Antistar’s flattering jumpsuits and little black dresses that take women seamlessly from day to night. Before long, Stella was fielding requests from retailers nationwide that wanted to stock Antistar in their stores.
